
RAS REMOVE/REFILL CYLINDER
- Access the Compartment: Open the dedicated side or main compartment pocket of your RAS-compatible pack where the cylinder is housed.
- Unsecure the Strap: Undo the Velcro or buckle strap that holds the cylinder firmly in place against the pack's internal frame.
- Unscrew: Carefully unscrew the cylinder from the Venturi (deployment) valve. You may hear a small "hiss" of residual air from the valve threads; this is normal and not a leak from the main tank.
- Refillable 207 Bar Aluminum (Alugas):
- copper burst disc and washer that must be replaced after every deployment.
- scuba shop, paintball shop, or authorized Mammut dealer. These locations have the correct moisture-free, high-pressure "breathable air" required for safe operation.
- Non-Refillable (Carbon/Steel 300 Bar):
